CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) CLA Search has been retained by Optima Machinery Corporation for their Pharma Division to identify Automation Control Engineers to serve their team. With locations and customers all over the world, Optima Machinery Corporation designs and builds packaging and filling machines including complete production lines for pharmaceutical, consumer, nonwovens and life science products.

What You’ll Do:

\n
• Edit and test machine codes (Rockwell ControlLogix)
\n
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex production machines
\n
• Document problem-solving process and archive updated software
\n
• Interface with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues
\n
• Coordinate small to large projects independently
\n
• Download PLC, HMI, and drive programs and work with controls engineers to improve machine programs
\n
• Knowledge of industrial controls devices and electrical diagrams
\n
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC (ControlLogix and CompactLogix) and HMI is a plus
\n

What You’ll Need:

\n
• 3-5 years of experience with high speed machines or other automated equipment
\n
• Expert knowledge of Allen-Bradley platforms is required. Software: RSLogix 5000, Jetter controls beneficial
\n
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Programming, or related field is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in PLC programming, motion commissioning of new equipment, as well as remote and field support
\n
• Experience in working with electrical control diagrams
\n
• Knowledge of additional PLC / AC Drives / HMI / Servo / Motion Control is required
\n
• SAP experience ideal
\n
• Approximately 50-75% travel to Europe, Canada and within the US
\n
• Valid Driver’s License & Passport is required
\n
