This position ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and consistently, supporting the comfort, dignity, and well-being of the people who live in our community.What You’ll DoFollow housekeeping schedules, assignments, and established cleaning proceduresClean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, corridors, stairwells, lounges, offices, and public restroomsAssemble and organize cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper function and safe usePerform housekeeping tasks including dusting, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, mopping floors, spot-cleaning walls and windows, and vacuuming carpet and upholsteryUse proper PPE depending on the cleaning area and taskReport structural issues, equipment malfunctions, evidence of pests, and needed repairs to the supervisorMaintain and clean housekeeping equipment after each useFollow all infection control, sanitation, and safety regulationsMaintain resident confidentiality and uphold Residents’ RightsAttend required in-service trainings and demonstrate consistent dependability and punctualityWork cooperatively with residents, families, staff, and service providersPerform other housekeeping duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredValid drivers license requiredAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructionsStrong sense of responsibility and personal cleanlinessKind, cheerful, and respectful approach when interacting with residentsWillingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and staff developmentWeekend assignments are rotated among Environmental Services team membersHoliday RotationThe schedule for this role is Tuesdays and Thursdays - 12:30pm-9:00pmWhy You’ll Love Working at Garden SpotAt Garden Spot Village, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven team that values compassion, respect, and integrity.
