Shelves library materials by shelving books using the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Classification system.
Uses the Interlibrary Loan using specialized databases (DocLine, OCLC), requests articles from NLM, Federal Libraries, academic and public libraries in response to staff requests.
Tracks Loans using the Library ILS to check on status of borrowed materials, and as needed, request return of materials from library patrons.
Answers phone responds to customer queries, charges/discharges materials.
Re-shelves material that has been used by library staff and patrons.
Maintains statistics used to document use of library spaces, services, and resources.
Maintains Statistics: Tracks and reports relevant metrics to Library Director.
Works with librarians to market the library/Resource Center via signage, postmaster emails, and other methods.
Repairing minor damage to print materials.
Locates and retrieves cataloging records from databases.
